Visceral Manipulation - release strain patterns with organ specific visceral mobilization.

This is a manual technique - hands on, gentle movement directed towards the fascia that supports and communicates With-In the body.

Doctors hands are gently placed upon a patient's bare abdomen

Fascia -is a band or sheet of connective tissue, primarily collagen, beneath the skin that attaches, stabilizes, encloses, and separates muscles and other internal organs. The Visceral system relies on the interconnected synchronicity between the motions of all the organs and structures of the body

When the body is healthy, all its parts move together smoothly. But if one organ is not in sync with the others because of tension, adhesion, or displacement, it can disrupt the functioning of other organs, muscles, membranes, and bones. This disharmony causes areas of tension in the body, which the body has to compensate for. Over time, this constant irritation could lead to illness and dysfunction. For example, imagine an adhesion affecting the lungs. It would create an abnormal alignment that puts strain on nearby body structures.

Sometimes, using certain muscles too much, doing the same movement over and over, getting hurt, straining, or having accidents could make your organs and their connections pull on each other inside your body. This could cause pain or discomfort in your muscles, the tissues that connect things in your body, or your bones. By using gentle techniques that focus on the organs, we could make them move better and decrease pain, which helps your body heal naturally.
